1) The Geochronos format is a csv format developed primarily for the Geochronos portal. More information about this format can be found here

Exporting is similar to downloading, but instead of downloading copies of individual files in the library, the metadata and spectra associated with the files are summarized in a tabular format, i.e., the GeoChronos format.

2) You can export individual records or entire folders by selecting the desired items from the folders and then clicking on Download. As an exercise, export all data files in the soils folder. Click on the folder name to highlight it.

Click Export.

You will be prompted to download a file with a .csv extension. Save the file to your local hard drive to be access at a later time.
